In future semesters and summers, the JMU 3-SPACE Classroom can be used for a wide variety of outreach activities to the university, the community, and local elementary, middle, and high schools, including:

  • Training for instructors who want to learn about 3D printing
  • Workshops for JMU faculty and students
  • Field trips from local K-12 schools
  • Workshops at the yearly JMU Expanding Your Horizons Conference for middle-school girls
  • Classes through the JMU College For Kids Saturday program
  • Community workshops and classes
