My name is Phil Riley.

I work at James Madison University, in a program called CIPP.  I am the project manager on a small software development project.

I'm primarily a Java developer.

My work-for-pay is on risk assessment and simulation, but my personal interests are more oriented towards software process and development tools.

Baseball.  Especially the Boston Red Sox.  I am a big fan of Sabermetrics. When I remember, I'll post my talk on bullpen composition from the 2004 AMS/MAA joint meetings.

Mathematics.  I have a M.A. in math from Duke University.

Science Fiction.  Laura and I have just a few books.

Music.  I've listened and I've played.  Sometime soon I'll post some old recordings of mine.
