{"id":1216,"date":"2018-02-21T13:17:43","date_gmt":"2018-02-21T13:17:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/3Dworld\/?p=1216"},"modified":"2018-04-26T00:42:05","modified_gmt":"2018-04-26T00:42:05","slug":"getting-ready-for-the-primaries","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/3Dworld\/maps-of-america\/getting-ready-for-the-primaries\/","title":{"rendered":"Getting Ready for the Primaries"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Project Update<\/h1>\n<p>The last week we have been working on making one print and working out the finer details\u00a0 of the 48 contiguous states on the plate of the Ultimaker 3.\u00a0 The first print we had intended to print, in both blue and red, but the printer did not receive the information that we wanted to use both nozzles to print in dual color, so in turn we got a single printed map all in red.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1224 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/3Dworld\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/IMG_0001.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"445\" srcset=\"https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/3Dworld\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/IMG_0001.jpg 800w, https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/3Dworld\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/IMG_0001-300x167.jpg 300w, https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/3Dworld\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/IMG_0001-768x427.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We have since updated and fixed the problem and the printed a dual color, red and blue map.\u00a0 The height of each state continues to represent the number of electoral votes per state. The pictures below are the print in process and the finished product.\u00a0 In total the printed time was 11 and 1\/2 hours to completely finish.
