Hey everyone! My name is Aaron Acosta and I am from Northvale, New Jersey, which is about 15 minutes from the George Washington Bridge.
I am a junior Management major with a concentration in Business Analytics and Consulting in the College of Business and I am also a Computer Information Systems minor. I am a recently initiated member of the Honor Society for the College of Business: Beta Gamma Sigma. After graduation, I want to return to the Tri-State Area and work as a Business Analyst/Consultant. Besides being a student here at JMU I spend a lot of time as a student manager for the JMU Football team. I travel to all the games and assist with practice and equipment issuing and repair. Last year I was privileged to be a part of the staff that helped the team win the 2016 National Championship, and we look towards another run at the title this year. When I am not busy with school or work, I enjoy spending time with my friends and playing video games.
I have had very little formal training in 3D printing. In my senior year of high school, my school just purchased a 3D printer, and I got to see how it worked, but never actually used it. I am very interested to see what I can create using the printers after taking this class.
