Group Members\/Presenters: Jennifer Marks and Basilios Dallas<\/p>\n

On Thursday, we had a ton of fun showing off our Rhombicuboctahedron open project off to those who came to the showcase. We had an opportunity to share our story of how we came to choose our object, and how we learned about polyhedral graph theory and its application to our object.<\/p>\n

We had several visitors throughout the duration of the showcase and it was fun explaining to them the ins and outs of our project. Most of the class was very familiar with out project so explaining what we did to people outside of the classroom allowed us to really unfold the layers of our process.<\/p>\n

We also had the opportunity to check out our classmates’ projects and ask in depth questions about their processes. Here are some photos from that:<\/p>\n

The showcase was a ton of fun. It was a great way to end the semester, as it was light, educational,\u00a0 and informal. It was great to have the opportunity to engage in conversations with visitors about the work we did over the course of the semester and how we applied what we learned. We really enjoyed presenting our project in a unique and unconventional way. We hope everyone else enjoyed the showcase as much as we did!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
