We began by explaining the fundamental basis of the Pizza problem, having even pizza slices that don’t all touch the middle. Once we established the problem, we explained the answers provided by the book, and how they only use the same arc as the circumference. Next we explained the solution we came up with on our own and the math we used to find it. The note cards we wrote up had the equations and more depictions of the solutions from the book, incase the viewer didn’t understand our oral explanations.<\/p>\n
<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2850\" src=\"https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/math103_fall2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1527.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"4032\" height=\"3024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/math103_fall2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1527.jpeg 4032w, https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/math103_fall2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1527-300x225.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/math103_fall2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1527-768x576.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/math103_fall2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1527-1024x768.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/math103_fall2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1527-678x509.jpeg 678w, https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/math103_fall2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1527-326x245.jpeg 326w, https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/math103_fall2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1527-80x60.jpeg 80w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 4032px) 100vw, 4032px\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2851\" src=\"https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/math103_fall2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1526.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"4032\" height=\"3024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/math103_fall2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1526.jpeg 4032w, https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/math103_fall2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1526-300x225.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/math103_fall2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1526-768x576.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/math103_fall2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1526-1024x768.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/math103_fall2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1526-678x509.jpeg 678w, https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/math103_fall2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1526-326x245.jpeg 326w, https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/math103_fall2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1526-80x60.jpeg 80w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 4032px) 100vw, 4032px\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2852\" src=\"https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/math103_fall2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1525.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"4032\" height=\"3024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/math103_fall2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1525.jpeg 4032w, https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/math103_fall2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1525-300x225.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/math103_fall2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1525-768x576.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/math103_fall2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1525-1024x768.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/math103_fall2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1525-678x509.jpeg 678w, https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/math103_fall2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1525-326x245.jpeg 326w, https:\/\/geekhaus.com\/math103_fall2017\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1525-80x60.jpeg 80w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 4032px) 100vw, 4032px\" \/><\/p>\n
We also took turns checking out other problems.
