Hilbert Curve Coasters

My first fractal I would like to print is called Hilbert Curve Coasters. The reason why I would like to print this one is that it is based on the Hilbert Curve. According to Wikipedia, Hilbert Curve is also known as Hilbert Space-filling Curve. I was fascinated by its ability to fill up the empty space shown here in the video.

It has three steps:

Here is the video to introduce Hibert Curve.

I found this file on Thingiverse. I believe it is printable because of its relatively simple patterner comparing to some other designs on there. It only has straight lines and straight angles which should make an easy printing.

3D Printing Results

The image shows the result of my fractal of Hilbert Curve Coasters. I attempted three times to finish this 3D model. Finally, I used the Afinia printer and adjust the size. It came out after about forty minutes with 10 layers. I download one of the files on Thingiverse. I think my model looks really like the one on the Thingiverse.

Here is the link that I post on the “Make” on Thingiverse. https://www.thingiverse.com/make:381414
