Hi there! My name is Kate. I am a senior Computer Science major, Asian Studies minor from the Harrisonburg area. I spend a lot of my free time during the semester working as a lab assistant, where I help students with their programming assignments and other CS topics, and serving as the secretary of Coders Anonymous, a social and service club for current and potential Computer Science students at JMU.
I plan to be a software developer after graduation this coming May. This past summer I worked as a web development intern at an IT consulting firm, but I love learning about and producing all different types of technology.
I have no experience with 3D printing, but I am excited to apply my programming skills to what we will be learning this semester!
