The Braille Wiz team shares their final products after completing the semester: 3D printed tactile campus maps and floor plans for the different floors of Roop Hall and Carrier Library…

We are working on getting the walkways to fit together on our full campus map.

Technical difficulties lead to a halt in progress. However, as a group, we were able to overcome them, and proceed to print!

The team is working on making sure the prints are readable for our users. By utilizing disability services we will be able to figure out if our Braille is readable.

An update and look into the future. As a group, we put together a timeline for the rest of the semester and decided on our final presentation. We also included an update with links, photos and screenshots.

This week we are experimenting with where and how we will place the braille on our maps. In addition, we tested out new software such as StetchUp. This ended up being a software that we did not find useful for the completion of our assignment.
